OEL AFW023 20 CAL Balaclava

The OEL AFW023 Balaclava is designed to provide full head and face coverage for workers needing lightweight, breathable protection in demanding environments. This 20 CAL/cm² rated balaclava is categorized as CAT2 protection, aligning with medium-level arc and splash resistance requirements for certain industrial settings. The design emphasizes a cross-pattern construction to improve comfort and conformity to the head shape, helping ensure that the fabric sits smoothly over the ears and crown while maintaining coverage where it counts.

Constructed from an 88/12 premium Indura cotton blend, the balaclava balances durability with comfort and moisture management. The navy color option is kept simple and functional for a variety of work uniforms or site requirements. A notable feature is double-layered stitching, which supports durability under repeated movement and laundering, helping maintain fit and integrity over time.

Suitable use cases include situations where workers need lower-face protection against fine particulates, light splashes, or incidental contact with contaminated materials, while still requiring a garment that breathes well enough for extended wear. When selecting a size, consider that the package is listed as each, meaning you would order individual units per worker. For maintenance, standard laundering is expected for fabric blends of this type, with attention to color retention and seam integrity over time.

Overall, the AFW023 combines a practical balance of protection level, materials, and construction to support daily wear in general PPE programs.
