The PIP 147-SK-2 NOVAX Class 2 Electrical Safety Kit is designed for electrical work where insulating protection is required. This kit combines a pair of ESP orange electrical gloves, a cowhide glove protector, and a 14-inch nylon glove bag, all packaged to support handling and storage of Class 2 rubber insulating gloves used around electrical hazards. The combination aligns with typical maintenance and service activities in power generation, electrical contracting, hybrid automotive work, and utilities environments, where controlled, insulated handling is essential for arc flash and shock protection in accordance with Class 2 requirements.
Constructed for practical field use, the kit includes a straight-cuff glove and its accompanying accessories to aid donning, wear, and protection when performing electrical tasks. The 14-inch nylon glove bag provides a dedicated storage solution to minimize contamination and maintain glove integrity between uses, while the cowhide protector offers an additional layer of physical protection for the glove set during handling and transport. The orange color of the gloves helps with visibility on site, and the packaging size is listed as an individual set per package, with one case per quantity as specified.
Operators should verify compatibility with their specific insulating glove ratings and ensure proper inspection and testing routines per internal safety programs, as well as NFPA 70E considerations for electrical hazard environments. This kit is intended for use with Class 2 insulating rubber gloves, and should be paired with appropriate protective equipment and training for electrical tasks. Maintain the gloves and accessories according to manufacturer guidance to preserve insulation performance and longevity.
