The Pyramex GL2004 Grain Cowhide Leather Driver Glove is a durable work glove designed for general handling tasks that require reliable hand protection. Built with grain shoulder cowhide leather, this glove offers solid abrasion resistance and a comfortable, flexible fit suited for routine material handling, loading dock work, and other dexterous tasks where a glove with a straight thumb and Gunn cut provides a balance of protection and tactile feedback.
Key construction features include grain cowhide leather selected for its durability, a straight thumb design to enhance grip and control, and a Gunn cut pattern that offers a snug fit with fewer exposed seams in critical areas. The glove is unlined, which can improve dexterity and reduce bulk, making it appropriate for warmer environments or tasks requiring more thumb and finger movement. This model is sold in dozen-count packaging, with case quantities typically offered in larger increments, aligning with warehouse and maintenance operations that stock multiple users. The grain leather construction makes these gloves a practical choice for general purpose glove needs where straightforward hand protection is prioritized over specialized coatings or insulation.
When selecting gloves, consider the nature of the job and environmental conditions. These gloves provide basic hand protection without additional insulation or lining, so they’re best suited for dry, indoor or mild outdoor settings and short- to medium-duration tasks. They are sized and sold per dozen, with larger case quantities common in industrial supply environments, which can influence purchasing decisions for teams or departments. As with all leather gloves, proper inspection for wear, seam integrity, and thinning leather is recommended to maintain performance over time.
