ANSI Cut Level A4

ANSI A4 provides medium cut resistance for tasks involving regular exposure to sharp edges and materials. It is commonly suited for manufacturing, automotive assembly, sheet metal handling, construction, maintenance, and material handling applications where increased cut protection and good dexterity are needed.

Understanding ANSI Cut Levels

ANSI/ISEA 105 cut ratings range from A1 to A9. Higher ratings indicate greater cut resistance:

A1–A2: Light cut protection

A3–A4: Light-to-medium cut protection

A5–A6: Medium-to-high cut protection

A7–A8: High cut protection

A9: Maximum cut protection

HPPE
