ANSI Cut Level A2

ANSI A2 provides light cut resistance for tasks with limited exposure to sharp edges. It is commonly suited for general material handling, assembly, packaging, warehouse operations, maintenance, and other applications where light cut protection and good dexterity are needed.

Understanding ANSI Cut Levels

ANSI/ISEA 105 cut ratings range from A1 to A9. Higher ratings indicate greater cut resistance:

A1–A2: Light cut protection

A3–A4: Light-to-medium cut protection

A5–A6: Medium-to-high cut protection

A7–A8: High cut protection

A9: Maximum cut protection

HPPE

HPPE is an excellent choice for PPE that requires high levels of cut protection without sacrificing comfort or dexterity.
