Safehouse Signs V57203SR is a 2-inch wide red and white conspicuity tape supplied on a 30-foot roll. This reflective strip is designed to improve visibility in a variety of lighting and weather conditions, aligning with high-visibility guidance for roadside and facility applications. Each strip is DOT-C2 certified, reflecting its compliance with relevant regulatory expectations for conspicuity materials used on vehicles and other surfaces where heightened visibility is required.
Constructed to perform under wet or dry conditions, the tape retains full reflective strength at distances of 1,000 feet or more, helping drivers and equipment operators detect marked surfaces from a substantial range. The tape is formulated to adhere to a range of substrates, including fiberglass, aluminum, and painted steel, provided the application surface is clean, dry, and oil-free prior to installation. This makes it suitable for varied facility and equipment environments where durable retroreflective markings are needed.
Practical use considerations include its easy unwind and the tape’s ability to conform to irregular surfaces, along with characteristics that promote straight tearing and curling resistance for straightforward application. The 30-foot roll size supports both longer runs and multiple marking applications without frequent replenishment, and the red/white color combination supports conspicuity on a variety of surfaces and backgrounds. This product is categorized for facility maintenance and is intended for professional use where regulatory-conforming conspicuity markings are required.
