The Aero Healthcare USP15 Emergency Trauma Shears are a compact, five-and-a-half inch cutting tool designed for rapid access and careful removal of clothing or bandages in emergency and first aid situations. Their purpose is to facilitate swift patient care while minimizing the risk of additional injury during cutting or tearing tasks often required at the scene of an incident.
These shears prioritize safety with a design that supports quick blade access and controlled cutting to reduce the chance of harm to the patient. The 5.5-inch length offers a balance between reach and precision, making them suitable for responding to bleeding, dressings, and bandaging needs in the field or on site. While materials, construction specifics, and certifications aren’t provided in the data, the product is positioned for emergency and first aid applications where time and care are critical.
Usage considerations include keeping the shears readily accessible in first aid kits, EMS bags, or workplace safety stations, and inspecting for edge integrity and cleanliness after each use. The package is listed as a single unit per pack, consistent with standard first aid toolkits that require individual access to a dependable cutting option in urgent moments. If you need to replace worn blades or ensure compatibility with existing first aid supplies, verify the USP15 model and part number during restocking to maintain consistency with Aero Healthcare’s product line.
