Aero Healthcare ABCT75 AEROBAN Tan Cohesive Bandage is a sterile, self-adherent wrap designed for securing dressings and supporting joints without sticking to skin or hair. Its cohesive property allows the bandage to adhere to itself, enabling easy positioning and rework without the need for clips or fasteners, while reducing the risk of skin irritation during application. The tan color offers discreet coverage in clinical and field settings.
The bandage is constructed to tear easily to size, simplifying adjustments on the fly and enabling quick, on-site tailoring without scissors. This self-adherent feature helps maintain compression and stability through activity, making it suitable for light to moderate securing tasks where traditional tapes might irritate skin or pull hair. The cohesive nature also minimizes residue on skin, contributing to faster removal and reduced trauma upon removal.
Ideal use cases include securing gauze or dressings on extremities and joints, providing provisional support for minor sprains, or bundling multiple dressings for extended coverage. Practitioners should consider patient comfort, skin condition, and level of activity when applying cohesive bandages, ensuring the wrap is snug but not constrictive. The product is specified as a cohesive bandage with a single package unit, aligning with common first-aid supplies and easy inventory management in clinics, hospitals, or emergency kits.
