The CGW 59718 2" Dia Roll-On 24-Grit Blue Zirconia Quick Change Disc is designed for efficient material removal on flat or contoured surfaces. This roll-on disc utilizes zirconia grain for faster cutting action and extended life, helping to reduce downtime on metalworking tasks. Its 2-inch diameter and quick-change (R/O) format enable rapid swaps and compatibility with standard backing systems, supporting workflows that demand versatility and productivity.
Constructed as a strong 2-ply design, the disc is intended to maintain form during use, contributing to consistent performance across varying workpiece geometries. The 24-grit zirconia formulation provides a balance between aggressive material removal and control, making it suitable for ungeared deburring, blending, and light edge prep on ferrous or similar metals, depending on the specific operation. The product is packaged as individual discs, with a box quantity of 50, which supports stocking and reordering for maintenance or production runs.
When selecting discs, ensure compatibility with your quick-change system and verify that the 2" diameter aligns with your tooling setup. The specifications indicate a maximum RPM of 25,000, which informs safe operation and speed matching to avoid premature wear or disc failure. Regular inspection for wear, proper mounting, and adherence to recommended speeds are advised to maximize service life and maintain consistent results across applications.
