The CGW 59598 Roll-On 60-Grit Green Zirconia with Grinding Aid Quick Change Disc is a 3-inch diameter wheel designed for efficient material removal on flat and contoured surfaces. It features zirconia abrasive grains that provide faster cutting and extended life, paired with a grinding aid to help keep temperatures down during use. The disc is built with a robust 2-ply construction to maintain stability and consistent grinding action across varying contours encountered in facility maintenance tasks.
This roll-on, quick-change disc is suitable for applications requiring reliable performance in metalworking and surface finishing workflows where aggressive material removal is balanced by cooler cutting characteristics. The combination of zirconia grain and a cooling aid supports steady productivity, particularly on larger jobs or repeated passes. For optimal results, verify compatibility with your body/grinder setup and ensure proper seating and secure attachment before operation. The package contains individual discs with a 3-inch diameter, designed for use in compatible quick-change systems and trays that accommodate 25 discs per box, providing ready supply for routine maintenance tasks.
Technical details such as grain composition, wheel diameter, and grinding aid behavior influence cutting efficiency, heat generation, and dressing frequency. Selecting the correct disc for your application helps maintain tool life and surface quality, while adhering to your grinder’s RPM limits. This CGW disc is positioned for facility maintenance workflows that require dependable, all-purpose 3-inch roll-on tooling with straightforward replacement and consistent performance across a range of metal finishing tasks.
