CGW 52312 is a 5-inch diameter hook-and-loop sanding disc designed for high-performance material removal and finishing in facility maintenance settings. The disc features a premium ceramic grain that delivers aggressive cutting with a consistent finish, suitable for applications requiring rapid material removal without sacrificing surface quality. The open-coat construction paired with a C-weight latex paper backing and a stearate coating helps resist loading, enabling more stable performance over extended use. This combination supports a smoother sanding action and reduces downtime due to clogging, which is beneficial in dusty or composite material environments.
The 600-grit ceramic abrasive is engineered for tasks that demand precise material removal and a refined surface texture. The disc adheres to standard hook-and-loop (H&L) backings, allowing quick attachment and easy disc changes on compatible power tools. Each disc is sized for 5-inch applications and is packaged as individual units with a box quantity of 100, making it convenient for stocking and repeat purchases in maintenance and manufacturing operations. When selecting this disc, consider the workpiece material and desired surface finish, as the ceramic grain and open-coat construction contribute to a faster cut rate while controlling loading.
