The CGW 51626 5 inch diameter sanding disc pairs a ceramic abrasive with a Hook & Loop backing for efficient, easy attachment to compatible tools. Designed for heavy material removal, this disc uses premium ceramic grain to deliver an aggressive cut while maintaining a consistent finish. The open coat construction with a stearate coating helps resist loading in dusty or cluttered work environments, supporting longer service between resharpening or disc changes. A C-weight latex paper backing provides the needed flexibility and strength for handheld or machine use, contributing to reliable performance across a range of applications.
With a 220-grit size, this disc is optimized for a balance between material removal rate and surface finish. The combination of ceramic grain and an open coat reduces heat buildup and clogging, which can otherwise hamper efficiency during extended sanding sessions. This disc is intended for use in facility maintenance tasks where durable, high-performance discs are preferred for shaping, deburring, or finishing metal or hard composite surfaces.
Each package contains 100 discs, enabling production runs or multiple maintenance cycles without frequent repurchase. The 5" diameter is a common size for many standard R&D, workshop, and industrial grinders that support Hook & Loop sanding discs, ensuring straightforward compatibility and straightforward disc changes during downtime or project transitions.
