CGW 34907 4" X 1-1/2" X 1-1/4" T11 WA-60J 60-Grit White Aluminum Oxide Tool & Cutting Wheel

CGW 34907 is a 4-inch diameter tool and cutting wheel designed for light stock removal and general-purpose grinding tasks. This WA-60J wheel uses white aluminum oxide grain, which is known for its balance of cut rate, durability, and heat resistance on a variety of metals. The wheel’s T11 shape indicates a trapezoid-style abrasive with a 60-grit surface, suitable for controlled material removal on both mild and some heat-sensitive steels when careful grinding action is required. The 1-1/2 inch thickness and 1-1/4 inch arbor/shank size define its mounting compatibility and dimensional footprint for compatible grinders and fixtures. This wheel is packaged as an individual item with a typical box quantity of 10, making it practical for maintenance operations that require multiple wheels or easy stocking.

In practice, WA-60J wheels are selected when a manufacturer or operator needs a predictable grind with minimal clogging and a manageable finish on a range of surfaces. The 60-grit profile offers a balance between material removal rate and surface finish, which can be advantageous when working with heat-sensitive materials or high-speed steels that benefit from reduced heat buildup and smoother cutting action. Operators should ensure the wheel is mounted securely and used with appropriate guards and personal protective equipment, following standard grinding practices to maintain wheel integrity and workpiece quality. The size and packaging information support inventory planning and replacement scheduling in maintenance or fabrication environments.
