The CGW 59732 is a rubber backing pad designed for quick-change (QC) discs used in facility maintenance tasks. This 2-inch diameter pad provides a compliant surface for mounting medium-grit, non-woven abrasive discs on compatible quick-change systems, enabling efficient attachment and removal during surface prep, finishing, or deburring workflows.
Constructed as a rubber backing pad with a 1/4-inch arbor/shank size, it is specified for use with medium grit, non-woven discs at typical QC speeds around 25,000 RPM. The product is offered in a packaging format of five pads per box, with the model identifier CGW59732 clearly aligning with CGW’s QC disc tooling lineup. The rubber backing helps absorb vibration and provides a stable, consistent contact surface for uniform material removal across the workpiece.
Users should verify compatibility with their specific quick-change disc system and ensure the backing pad size matches their discs and tooling arbor. The 2-inch diameter and 1/4-inch shank are standard dimensions for many QC disc applications, which supports a broad range of finishing, cleaning, and light grinding tasks on flat or contoured surfaces. Regular inspection for wear or deformation and adherence to manufacturer RPM guidelines will help maintain performance and disc life.
