Safehouse Signs PWS-12 Fire Extinguisher With Arrow Pointing Down - Projecting Wall Sign, 6X12, Acrylic

Safehouse Signs SHSPWS-12 is a projecting wall sign designed to identify the location of a fire extinguisher with the indicator arrow positioned downward. The sign is constructed from 1/8-inch acrylic and measures 6 by 12 inches, providing a compact yet visible display for facility interiors. Its projecting design enables viewing from multiple directions by extending from the wall at a 45-degree angle, which can improve visibility in hallways, rooms, or near exits where quick identification is critical. The sign ships with pre-drilled mounting holes and foam tape, supporting straightforward installation on walls or ceilings depending on the mounting surface and desired orientation. The product line notes that many legends are available with an optional laminated, glow-in-the-dark, or photoluminescent film that can provide hours of illumination, offering an additional visibility option in low-light conditions. This particular entry identifies the SHSPWS-12 as a fire extinguisher indicator with a down arrow, suitable for facilities requiring clear directional signage for firefighting equipment.

In practical use, this projecting sign can be positioned to clearly indicate the presence of a fire extinguisher and guide personnel toward it from various angles in a space. The acrylic construction offers a rigid, lightweight option suitable for indoor environments, while the 6x12-inch footprint preserves visibility without occupying excessive wall space. Packaging is described as each, aligning with standard single-item shipments for facility signage. When selecting installation methods, consider whether mounting surface compatibility and the desired viewing angle necessitate the included pre-drilled holes or the adhesive foam tape provided by the manufacturer. For best results, ensure a clean, flat surface and verify the arrow direction aligns with the extinguisher’s location to minimize confusion during emergencies.
