The Safehouse Signs GL-26313 Fire Extinguisher Glow On Down Arrow sign is a compact, 4 by 20 inch plastic sign designed to aid wayfinding in low-light or power-outage scenarios. Made from economical yet durable .040 polystyrene, this glow-in-the-dark sign features a photoluminescent film that provides extended illumination after ambient light exposure, helping occupants locate a fire extinguisher and follow the down-arrow guidance during emergencies.
Key construction details include a laminated glow-in-the-dark surface and pre-drilled mounting holes with radius corners, which support easy installation on walls or other flat surfaces. The combination of a robust plastic substrate and a luminous layer helps improve visibility in darkness without the need for electrical power, making it suitable for areas with limited lighting or as a supplementary safety cue in busy facilities.
Designed for facility maintenance environments, this sign communicates critical directional information quickly and clearly. Its 4x20 size supports visibility from a moderate distance, balancing unobtrusive placement with legibility. The package is listed as individual units, enabling straightforward stocking and replacement as part of a broader safety-sign program. When installing, ensure mounting holes align with your chosen hardware and that the sign remains free from damage to preserve the photoluminescent performance over time.
