Safehouse Signs FD-46 is a floor decal designed to clearly mark restricted or cautionary areas by indicating that PPE is required beyond the point. This 17-inch decal features a pictogram with three worker heads, communicating the PPE requirement to passersby in a quick, glanceable format. The product is intended for high-traffic environments, helping to visually reinforce safety protocols in facilities where foot traffic is continuous and rapid movement occurs.
Constructed for practicality, the decal uses self-adhesive vinyl with a non-slip overlaminate, providing a durable surface that resists wear from heavy foot traffic and helps maintain visibility under footfall. The strong adhesive backing includes a peel-off liner that facilitates straightforward installation on clean, smooth floor surfaces, reducing downtime during placement. The combination of anti-slip properties and a robust adhesive system is aimed at maintaining legibility and position over time, even in lanes with frequent use.
This floor decal is suitable for placement at entryways, corridor thresholds, or any point where workers may encounter the need for PPE beyond a designated area. When applying, ensure the underlying floor is clean and dry to optimize adhesion; allow the self-adhesive layer to cure as recommended by the manufacturer to maximize staying power. The 17-inch size provides a prominent, easy-to-read message from typical walking distances, and the single-package-per-unit format supports predictable inventory and replenishment in facility-maintenance programs.
