The Ergo Advantage AG7-Y 6" Closed Yellow Grit Tile is a modular floor surface designed to support comfortable, slip-resistant work areas while helping to manage cords and wires. Constructed from 100% recycled PVC with a silicon carbide grit surface, the tiles present a rugged, anti-slip texture that remains easy to clean in busy facilities. The design features patented ergonomic domes that subtly distribute weight to reduce fatigue during long periods of standing, which can contribute to a more comfortable workstation environment when used in multi-tile configurations.
Each tile connects through a male-and-female locking system, enabling quick and straightforward installation without specialized tools. The 1" thick tile profile provides a sturdy platform suitable for wet, dry, and oily conditions, though it isn’t recommended for areas with large continuous water exposure. The product is color-coded in yellow for visibility and attention in high-traffic spaces, and it is classified as Class 1 fire resistant per applicable standards. The system supports cord management by allowing cables to be routed beneath the surface, helping to keep walkways clear and reduce trip hazards in maintenance or assembly workflows.
Package configurations include individual tiles and case quantities, with a case pack of 10 tiles. This modular approach supports scalable coverage for work areas of varying sizes. While the tiles are designed for easy maintenance, users should consider routine inspection of interconnected edges and locking mechanisms to maintain a continuous, stable surface. Customizable color options are available within the series, and the product is noted for easy cleaning and reliable performance in mixed-use environments.
