The Ergo Advantage A5-Y Corner Female Yellow Edging is a modular edge protection solution designed to help manage floor boundaries in facility settings. This 1-inch-thick edging is made from 100% PVC and features a patented ergonomic dome texture, with a yellow color selected for high visibility. The corner female configuration allows edges to connect in a way that supports a continuous perimeter along walls or corridor ceilings, while the sloped profile helps reduce trip hazards where floor transitions occur. The tiles are designed for quick and straightforward installation through a click-together mechanism, enabling faster setup and fewer tools or steps during deployment.
Key construction details focus on safety and maintenance practicality: the edging is rated Class 1 fire resistant, contributing to safer compliance in spaces that require flame-retardant materials. The product is dry-usage oriented and suitable for environments where cleanability is important, as noted by its easy-to-clean characteristics. The 20-year warranty offers a long-term protection expectation, reflecting its durable PVC construction. Relief cuts are available for cord management where power or data lines run along the edgeboundary, and the color is customizable to help match or delineate specific zones within a facility. Each package units as individual pieces, with case quantities of two per box, supporting scalable installation from small projects to larger area coverage.
Practical use considerations include ensuring a dry usage environment and planning for the click-together installation process. The corner female design is intended to join with compatible edging components within the same Edge series, and customization options in color support facility-specific branding or safety zoning. For careful maintenance, rely on regular cleaning to preserve the surface texture and visibility of the yellow color, and consider the relief cut placement for any cord routing without compromising edge integrity.
