Loctite 442-135486 545 Thread Sealant is formulated for locking and sealing metal pipes and fittings in hydraulic and pneumatic systems. The product emphasizes high lubricity to facilitate easy assembly and removal, making it suitable for fine-threaded fittings commonly found in hydraulic and pneumatic installations as well as small generic fittings. The sealant is designed to be compatible with system fluids by avoiding fillers or particles that could contaminate fluids, foul valves, or clog delicate filters and screens.
This 50 mL bottle is intended for applications where precise pipe-thread sealing and leak prevention are required without introducing particulates to sensitive fluid paths. It accommodates fittings up to 50 mm in diameter, including pneumatic and hydraulic configurations, and is offered in a standard 50 mL size.Efficient packaging and a controlled cure contribute to predictable sealing performance in both maintenance and new-install scenarios, helping minimize downtime and rework in facility systems.
When selecting a sealant for metal pipe threads in hydraulic or pneumatic systems, consider compatibility with the fluids and materials involved, as well as the thread size and connection type. This product is sold as a single unit with 10 units per case, supporting batch purchases or stocking for regular maintenance cycles.
