The Zing Green 7270 Flexible Hasp is a lightweight, non-conductive lockout device designed for simple, secure control of electrical equipment. Constructed from durable nylon, it provides dielectric properties suitable for use on electrical panels, miniature circuit breakers, switches, and panel handles. The flexible design allows easy placement around handles and latches, while the 4" L x 2" W footprint supports multiple padlocks to accommodate team lockout procedures.
Key details include a plastic body with a coated steel cable option, offering versatility for multi-user lockout scenarios. The device is specified to accommodate up to 3 padlocks with a maximum shackle diameter of 1/4 inch, supporting typical lockout workflows where several workers must apply their own padlocks to a single point. The unit’s size is listed as approximately 4 inches long by 2 inches wide, with overall depth around 1 inch, and it is packaged individually for easy stocking and deployment on job sites.
When selecting this hasp, consider the panel or switch geometry and the required number of concurrent lockout keys. The product’s dielectric nylon construction helps mitigate conductive exposure in electrical environments, and its lightweight profile reduces handling burden during lockout/tagout activities. Ensure padlock compatibility with the stated shackle dimensions and confirm the fit against the specific equipment handles or panels to avoid interference with operation or visibility of lockout tags.
