The unit is pre-assembled for straightforward installation, featuring a ceiling-mount connection and a hanging installation method using aircraft cable (not supplied). The disclosure-friendly design includes protective light guards for the flashing red lights, which illuminate for a user-adjustable duration of 4 or 8 seconds upon impact, in addition to a highly audible 105 dB alarm that also runs for a user-selectable 4 or 8 seconds. An optional remote notification capability allows the Watchman’s dry contact output, on impact, to trigger another device such as an external light or alarm located remotely.
With options for 8 or 10-foot lengths and AC power compatibility (115V or 230V), the WM-3 can be sized and powered to fit different facility layouts and electrical configurations.
