The Quantum QRU-16D-230-96CL is a double-sided rail storage rack designed to organize bulky parts and small parts alike across industrial spaces. Constructed from heavy-duty steel, the unit provides a substantial 1,600 lb. total capacity, making it suitable for high-traffic environments such as warehouses, packing stations, and shipping/receiving areas. The rack’s double-sided design offers expanded hanging and bin-accessible storage, effectively increasing usable space without increasing floor area. The system ships with 96 clear polypropylene bins, each capable of holding up to 35 lb. when mounted on the rails. These bins feature open fronts for quick visibility and access, rear hangers for flexible bin placement, and built-in stacking ledges with an anti-slide lock for optional shelf use. The bins are autoclavable up to 250 degrees Fahrenheit and are designed to resist cold, rust, and corrosion, making them suitable for varied facility conditions. Quick mounting flexibility is supported by pre-drilled holes on the rack bottom to allow attachment to casters (sold separately) for mobility, and the unit is intended for surface mounting when casters are not used.
