Rubbermaid Commercial RCP421288BLA Floor & Carpet Sweeper, Plastic Bristles, 44" Handle, Black/Gray

The Rubbermaid Commercial Products Executive Series Floor & Carpet Sweeper is a versatile cleaning tool designed for use on bare floors and low-pile carpet. Built with durable galvanized steel and ABS plastic, this sweeper combines a low-profile body with a 6 1/2 inch sweeping path, allowing access under furniture and around obstacles while efficiently gathering debris in a single pass. The included nylon bristles are 6 1/2 inches long and paired with a 51-inch overall length, giving operators reach and control during sweeping tasks.

A key feature is the easy-open debris pan, which simplifies cleanup of collected dirt and debris, helping minimize disruption during routine maintenance. The bumper protection helps prevent marks on walls and furniture as the unit navigates tight spaces. Designed for professional janitorial use, this model is suitable for low-pile carpet, tile, wood, and vinyl surfaces, making it a practical option for medium-duty cleaning programs in offices, schools, and light-commercial settings.

When selecting this tool, consider its compatibility with standard janitorial workflows and its package as a single unit. The 1-inch handle diameter and the 44-inch handle measurement referenced in the product name align with typical ergonomics for extended cleaning sessions, while the 51-inch overall length facilitates comfortable maneuvering without excessive bending. Regular maintenance consists of inspecting the bristles and debris pan for wear and ensuring the unit remains free of obstructions to preserve sweeping efficiency.
