Tilex Soap Scum Remover & Disinfectant is a 32 oz spray cleaner designed to tackle soap scum buildup while delivering surface disinfection. The formula creates a penetrating foam that cleans, deodorizes, and disinfects a variety of bathroom surfaces, including glazed ceramic tile, fiberglass, shower doors, toilets, and sinks. It’s a practical choice for commercial facilities, such as offices, day cares, restaurants, and hotels, where quick, visible cleaning action and odor control are valued. The product uses Smart Tube technology to ensure you get every drop from the bottle, reducing waste and downtime spent on refills.
This version is unscented, which helps minimize fragrance-related exposure and keeps bathrooms smelling neutral rather than strongly perfumed. The combination of cleaning power and surface disinfection can reduce soap scum regrowth and help maintain a cleaner, more sanitary wash area between routine maintenance runs. The 32 oz bottle is packaged as a case, containing nine bottles per case, which supports bulk stocking for facilities with high cleaning demands. While the data provided does not include explicit performance claims beyond general disinfection and soap scum removal, the product is positioned for use on common bathroom materials in commercial settings where reliable, one-step cleaning and deodorizing action is beneficial.
Notes on use and compatibility: as with any surface cleaner and disinfectant, it should be applied to appropriate, non-porous bathroom surfaces and used in accordance with local regulations and facility cleaning protocols. The unscented formula may be preferable in spaces where fragrance-free products are desired or where scent sensitivity is a concern. Maintenance planning should consider the case quantity to ensure uninterrupted supply during busy cleaning periods.
