The Lysol RAC78914 Multi-Purpose Cleaner with Bleach is a versatile disinfectant and cleaner designed for routine janitorial use in facilities that require quick-acting microbial control. This 32 oz spray provides both cleaning and deodorizing action while delivering whitening effects, making it suitable for a variety of bathroom and kitchen surfaces. The formulation is described as bactericidal, virucidal, and fungicidal, offering active control of a broad spectrum of microorganisms when used as directed.
Key attributes noted in the manufacturer description include rapid disinfection for high-priority pathogens, such as Norovirus within 30 seconds and Clostridium difficile spores within five minutes, depending on directed use. It is intended for application on common hard surfaces like bathtubs, cabinets, counters, floors, glazed porcelain, glazed ceramic tile, showers, toilet exteriors, and sinks, supporting routine cleaning and deodorizing tasks in commercial or institutional settings.
Practical considerations for use include following the labeled directions to achieve the claimed efficacy and ensuring contact times are observed for disinfection. The product provides a slight chlorine scent and comes in a convenient 32 oz spray bottle, packaging that supports standard spray applications typical of janitorial routines. While the data highlights broad-spectrum activity, verify compatibility with sensitive substrates and conduct spot testing on surfaces not explicitly listed.
