The Green Creative 15T5HE/4F/830/DIR/R is a 4-foot linear LED tube designed to retrofit or replace traditional T5HO fluorescent lighting with an energy-efficient option. It delivers about 2,200 lumens at a 3,000 K color temperature, which yields a warm white appearance suitable for many indoor settings. With a claimed rate of up to 60% energy savings compared with fluorescents, this tube is intended for environments seeking lower operating costs while maintaining similar light levels. The unit operates on a wide input voltage range from 120 to 277 V and is dimmable, providing flexibility for varying lighting needs and control strategies. It is UL Listed and DLC Listed (not a DLC Premium listing), and carries a 5-year warranty, reflecting Green Creative’s support for ongoing performance expectations over extended use.
Construction and distinguishing features include a T5-shaped form factor with a white finish and plastic lens. The design is compatible with indoor locations and is not specified for wet or damp environments. The product is packaged as a single unit per package. Notably, the specification lists a high lumen-per-watt efficiency around 146.7 lm/W, with a life rating of L70 at 50,000 hours, indicating an expected long-term lumen maintenance profile under typical operating conditions. The fixture’s explicit dimmable capability enables integration with adjustables or daylighting schemes where available sensors or controls are deployed.
For practical use, this tube suits general indoor applications such as offices, retail spaces, galleries, meeting rooms, and hospitality corridors where a warm white light and energy savings are desired. It is important to verify compatibility with existing ballast or driver configurations in any retrofit scenario, and to confirm wiring and control compatibility for dimming functions. The device is designed for indoor use in non-hazardous locations and is not intended for wet locations, which should influence placement and installation planning.
