ANSI Type I helmets are designed to protect the top of the head from impact. They’re most commonly used in environments where falling objects are the primary hazard—like general construction, manufacturing, and warehousing. Type I helmets feature a suspension system that absorbs vertical impact energy but offer little to no protection against blows from the sides, front, or rear.

ANSI Type II helmets provide a higher level of protection by guarding against both top and lateral impacts. These are ideal for workers who face the risk of being struck by objects or equipment from different angles—such as electricians, utility workers, and those working around moving machinery. Type II helmets typically include additional padding and a more advanced suspension system to absorb energy from side impacts as well as top impacts.

ANSI Class E (Electrical) helmets are built for environments where electrical hazards are present. They’re tested to withstand up to 20,000 volts, offering the highest level of protection against electrical shock. Class E helmets are often required for utility workers, linemen, and electricians working near high-voltage sources.

ANSI Class G (General) helmets provide moderate electrical protection, tested to resist up to 2,200 volts. They are suitable for general construction, carpentry, and industrial settings where there’s some exposure to low-voltage electrical hazards, but not high-voltage systems.

ANSI Class C (Conductive) helmets are designed for maximum breathability and comfort, often featuring vented shells or lightweight materials. However, they do not provide electrical insulation, making them appropriate only for environments without electrical risks—such as manufacturing, warehousing, or areas focused on impact protection and comfort over electrical safety.

PADDED COMFORT DOME

PADDED COMFORT DOME

The perforated synthetic leather comfort dome is engineered for breathability and long-wearing comfort, while a molded EVA foam insert provides an added layer of shock-absorbing protection at the crown of the head. This combination enhances both impact mitigation and overall user comfort, especially during extended periods of wear.

MOISTURE WICKING PADDING

The moisture-wicking, foam-backed microfiber liner actively pulls sweat away from the skin, promoting faster evaporation and helping to keep the wearer cool and dry. The soft microfiber surface adds a layer of comfort, while the breathable foam backing enhances airflow, reducing sweat build-up during extended wear or in high-heat environments.
