The ETI UC-12-6-830-SV is a 12-inch under-cabinet lighting solution designed to provide efficient, task-focused illumination with easy dimming control. It operates at 120V and delivers 350 lumens from a compact 6-watt module, offering an energy-efficient alternative to traditional 35-watt fixtures. The light is ENERGY STAR qualified and UL Damp listed, making it suitable for use in kitchens, workbenches, and other spaces where moisture resistance is important. Its 120° beam angle distributes light broadly across work surfaces, helping to reduce shadows and improve visibility for fine-detail tasks.
Constructed for performance and simple installation, this model features a linkable design that allows multiple units to be connected for extended runs without complex wiring. The color temperature is a warm 3000K with an 80 CRI, delivering a natural-looking light that helps colors appear accurately on the work surface. The unit includes a step dimming switch, enabling quick adjustments to light intensity to match task requirements or ambient conditions. A high power factor (~0.9) supports reliable operation when powered from standard 120V circuits, and the product carries cULus safety certification and Energy Star compliance, indicating conformance to recognized performance and efficiency standards.
Practical considerations include CA Title 20 compliance and IC-rated construction for ceiling installations in California, while NECA Closet rating is listed as N/A. Each light is packaged individually, with cases containing five units, making it suitable for rapid deployment across multiple workstations or spaces that require consistent illumination. For best results, verify room dimensions and mounting height to ensure the 12-inch length and 120-degree beam provide complete coverage where needed, and plan for the linkable network if expanding beyond a single unit.
