The Justrite 26806D Personal Smoker's CeaseFire Outdoor Ashtray is a compact, 1-gallon receptacle designed to manage cigarette butt litter in small seating areas and other tight spaces. Its two-piece construction uses all-weather polyethylene, providing a durable housing that withstands outdoor conditions while staying portable and unobtrusive next to chairs, decks, patios, or poolside seating. The unit’s self-extinguishing design helps reduce fire risk, and it is paired with a removable galvanized steel pail that makes ash disposal quick and clean—simply unscrew the base to empty. FM-approved fire testing supports its intended use in light smoking traffic areas.
Constructed for easy maintenance, the design emphasizes convenient disposal without clutter: the top and base come apart for straightforward cleaning, and the polyethylene body resists the wear of outdoor environments. The 1-gallon capacity (4 liters) provides a practical amount of capacity between emptying, helping keep smoking areas tidy without frequent servicing. The low-profile, 30 inches high and 11-inch diameter footprint ensures the unit fits alongside seating while remaining accessible to users.
This product is suitable for use in outdoor common areas where cigarette butt containment is important but space is at a premium. It is sized and packaged for single-unit use, with the expected installation and maintenance pattern including routine emptying of the galvanized pail and periodic inspection of the polyethylene housing for cleanliness and integrity. When selecting a receptacle for smoking areas, consider capacity needs, ease of maintenance, and the need for a missing-noise, space-conscious solution that minimizes litter and fire risk.
