The Better Brush 770115 is a 15-inch abrasive nylon rotary brush designed for light to moderate scrubbing on concrete, terrazzo, and tile floors in commercial and janitorial settings. It features natural, stiff bristles with a 0.040-inch diameter and a 120-grit abrasive, offering effective material removal while maintaining a relatively conservative impact on floor surfaces. The 1-3/4-inch trim helps reach typical floor textures without excessive bristle chatter, and the brush is intended to be used wet for optimal performance and bristle longevity.
Construction-wise, this brush combines nylon bristles with abrasive material to deliver scrubbing action without relying on pad clogging-prone surfaces. It is marketed to outlast many green or blue pads by resisting clogging, making it suitable for ongoing janitorial routines that involve routine cleaning and light restoration. The 15-inch size aligns with standard commercial floor machines, providing broad coverage while maintaining control on mid-sized cleaning rigs.
Practical usage notes include the requirement to operate with moisture during use, which helps reduce dust and extends bristle life. It is available as a 15-inch brush and is packaged as a single piece, compatible with compatible rotary floor machines that accept 15-inch attachments. When considering this brush, users should ensure their machine supports 15-inch implement widths and verify the substrate conditions to determine if abrasive nylon is the appropriate choice for the cleaning task at hand.
