The Better Brush 740113 is a 13-inch nylon rotary brush designed for light scrubbing and spray buffing on coated floor surfaces. Its 500-grit, light green abrasive bristles are constructed from nylon and configured with a 1-3/4-inch trim, enabling effective polishing and maintenance without excessive abrasion.
Key construction details include a flexible brush body and wet-use requirement, which helps manage dust and debris while providing consistent contact with the floor during application. This brush is designed to outperform typical abrasive pads in tasks involving routine polishing and light scrubbing, potentially reducing pad clogging and extending service intervals in maintenance workflows.
Practical use considerations include compatibility with standard rotary floor machines and the need to operate the brush while wet to achieve best results. Available sizing spans from 10 to 21 inches, with this model offered as a 13-inch option suitable for mid-size machines. Each unit is packaged individually, and the part is identified by the manufacturer as BTB740113, ensuring accurate ordering and compatibility within janitorial and floor-care programs.
When selecting this brush, consider the coated floor condition, desired level of gloss, and the machine’s compatibility with 13-inch tooling. The 500-grit rating provides moderate abrasive action appropriate for light restoration rather than heavy renovation. As with any abrasive tool, verify machine clearance and follow manufacturer guidelines for wet-use operation to maintain brush integrity and achieve consistent results.
