The Better Brush 431809 Light Angle Sweep is a stiff, flagged broom head designed for efficient debris pickup in tight or hard-to-reach areas. It features an 11-inch sweeping surface and a 9-inch black plastic block that includes one upright and one angled hole, allowing compatibility with a threaded handle for customized angling and reach. The block is manufactured from black plastic with at least 50% recycled material, reflecting a consideration for material sustainability while maintaining durability for industrial cleaning tasks. The stiff polypropylene fibers are flagged to help lift fine particulates and dust from floors, with a heavy fill to balance stiffness and surface contact. The broom head is trimmed with a 5-inch high side and a 3.5-inch low side, contributing to its light-angle design that can improve dust collection in corners, along edges, and near baseboards.
This head is intended for janitorial use where cleanup efficiency and reach are important. The design accommodates a threaded handle, which is sold separately, enabling users to select a compatible length and handle style for their environment. Given the 11-inch sweeping surface, it pairs well with standard-length handles for typical floor sweeping tasks, and the overall construction aims to withstand regular use in commercial settings. When selecting replacements or additions to a cleaning cart, verify that the BTB431809 model matches the required 11-inch head size, stiff polypropylene bristles, and the flagged, heavy-fill configuration to ensure consistent performance across cleaning routines.
