The ProStat 2218 Non-Adherent Pads are ready-to-use, sterile-first-aid dressings designed for minor skin injuries where adherence to the wound is undesirable. These 2" x 3" pads provide a clean, non-adherent contact surface that minimizes trauma during dressing changes, helping to protect granulating tissue and reduce discomfort for patients with minor cuts, abrasions, or superficial burns. Manufactured under the ProStat First Aid line, the pads are sized to cover small wound areas while allowing easy, painless removal when assessing healing progress.
Constructed to stay relatively soft and conform to irregular contours, these pads are deposited in a box calibrated for quick access in first-aid kits or worksite med stations. The box quantity is 10 pads per box, making it convenient for stocking multiple departments or facilities without frequent replenishment. While the data provided does not specify adhesive layers or backing materials, the non-adherent nature is intended to prevent the dressing from sticking to the wound bed, avoiding additional trauma during removal and dressing changes.
These pads are suitable for general first-aid use in workplace environments, clinics, and field settings where a simple, effective wound-care option is needed. They pair well with standard gauze and secondary dressings as part of a basic wound-management protocol. For clinicians and safety personnel, confirms sizing (2" x 3") and packaging (10-per-box) help ensure appropriate stocking, inventory planning, and rapid deployment during incident response or routine care.
