The ProStat Pro2057 Water Jel Burn Dressing is a 4 × 4 inch, palm- and hand-sized burn care solution designed to provide rapid, non-adherent relief for minor burns. Each sterile dressing features a clear, water-based gel that cools on contact to help limit burn progression while allowing easy visual assessment of the injury. The gel is embedded in a non-woven pad that won’t stick to the wound, supporting gentle removal after initial care.
Key construction details emphasize a lightweight, transparent dressing that combines immediate cooling with long-lasting pain relief. The Water Jel formulation is water-based and water-soluble, which helps dissipate heat from the burn and facilitates cleanup. The dressings are individually sterile wrapped, making them suitable for first aid kits, safety stations, and mobile response bags where quick, hygienic burn care is needed. The 4 × 4 inch size is particularly well-suited for burns on the palm, back of the hand, or other small to medium areas where a precise, compact dressing is advantageous.
For practical use, these dressings align with standard burn care protocols and are compatible with common first aid procedures for minor burns, including those caused by thermal, electrical, friction, or radiation sources. Each case contains 60 dressings, and single-pack packaging facilitates easy restocking in controlled inventory environments. Maintaining proper storage and ensuring products remain sterile until use supports effective, immediate burn management in workplace first aid programs.
