The entire building envelope was retrofitted with energy efficient LED fixtures and lamps, including high bay, task, inspection, office fixtures as well as all parking lot and wall packs on the exterior of the 350,000 sq. ft. facility. The Safety Source did a full walk-through of Wyman-Gordans facility to find any blind spots, corners, office areas, and any other potential areas where a fork truck collision could happen. We determined which collision awareness systems would be apropriate in every area of the facility. Each of these systems uses motion sensors and lights to alert both pedestrians and operators of oncoming traffic.

The Safety Source allocated new space while minimizing lateral footprint by expanding vertically with a two-story mezzanine as well as implant offices.

ArcelorMittal offices had 435 ea. T8 3-lamp fluorescent fixtures. The Safety Source replaced these with TCP LT810B241K LED Libera T8 Double Ended Bypass Tube by using this 10.5 watt LED lamp The Safety Source created a 63% reduction in energy consumption, these LED lamps are rated for 50,000 hours and come with a 5 year manufacturer warranty helping ArcelorMittal to avoid maintenance costs for several years.
